Prudhoe Town

Prudhoe Town Women (often referred to as “The Citizens”) is the senior women’s side of Prudhoe Town FC. Representing the Tyne Valley, they are a cornerstone of the sporting community in Prudhoe, providing a high-level competitive outlet for women in south Northumberland.

  • Identity: While the wider club has undergone various mergers and name changes, the women’s side proudly carries the “Prudhoe Town” mantle into the Premiership.
  • Milestone: The club is deeply integrated with Prudhoe Youth Club (PYC), creating one of the most comprehensive footballing pathways in the region, bridging the gap between one of the North East’s largest youth setups and senior football.
