📈 The “Celtic” PathwayWest Allotment is a specialist in player retention, with a squad largely comprised of “lifers” who have moved through the junior system:Junior Foundation: The club operates a robust girls’ section, and the senior team serves as a direct destination for graduating U16 players. Newcomers for the 2025/26 season, such as Jess Bucas and Lola Sample, are the latest examples of this youth-to-senior pipeline.Coaching: The team is led by long-serving manager David Dodds (UEFA B qualified). His philosophy centers on developing young talent and maintaining a positive, supportive environment that avoids the high-pressure “burnout” often seen in regional football. 🤝 Culture & Ethos”Allotment for All”: The ladies’ team is a central part of the club’s partnership with True 22, embodying the core values of community, respect, kindness, and teamwork. The “Close Bond”: Unlike many teams that see high player turnover, the Celtic Ladies are defined by their off-pitch chemistry. This unity has led to success in social competitions, including winning the Blackpool 7-a-side winners’ plate on multiple occasions. Community Support: The team is well-integrated into the local business landscape, with home and away kits supported by long-term partners like First Class Supply and Permatt Fork Lift Trucks.
